Our Story
Built by a Dropshipper, for Dropshippers
Strive Commerce exists because the dropshipping industry was broken. Bad suppliers. Ugly stores. Painful fulfillment. I built the platform I wished existed when I was starting out.

Meet Tom Stein
Founder & CEO
I got into dropshipping in 2023 like a lot of people do. I saw the opportunity to build something of my own, be my own boss, and create real income without needing a warehouse full of inventory. The idea was simple: find great products, put them in front of the right people, and let the supplier handle the rest.
The reality was anything but simple.
I spent weeks watching tutorials, following “guru” advice, and trying to piece together a store that actually looked professional enough for someone to trust with their credit card. And even after all that work, the results were the same: a store that looked like every other template out there, suppliers that shipped products in 3-4 weeks, and a tech stack that required constant babysitting.
The Problems I Kept Running Into
Every step of the dropshipping process had friction. Not small inconveniences, but real, business-killing problems that made it nearly impossible for new entrepreneurs to succeed.
Bad Suppliers Everywhere
I wasted hundreds of dollars testing suppliers that sent wrong items, took weeks to ship, or disappeared entirely. Finding a reliable supplier felt like finding a needle in a haystack. Every bad supplier meant a refund request, a chargeback, or a 1-star review.
Building a Store Was a Massive Time Sink
I spent more time configuring Shopify themes, troubleshooting payment gateways, and fighting with CSS than I did actually selling products. A store that should take a day to build took me two weeks. And it still didn't look right.
Unproven Layouts That Don't Convert
Even when the store was 'done,' I had no idea if the layout would actually convert. I was guessing at hero sections, product descriptions, trust badges, and checkout flows. Every element was a gamble. Testing layouts meant rebuilding the entire site.
Impossible to Manage at Scale
Running one store was a full-time job. Running three was chaos. Updating products, managing orders, tracking inventory, handling customer service. It all had to be done manually across separate dashboards with separate logins.
Fulfillment Took Forever
Customers expected Amazon-speed delivery. My suppliers were shipping ePacket from China with 20-30 day delivery windows. The result: constant 'Where is my order?' emails, chargebacks, and a customer experience that made me embarrassed to check my inbox.
No Clear Path to Profitability
Between ad costs, platform fees, supplier prices, and refunds, I could never tell if I was actually making money. Pricing was guesswork. Margins were thin. And without real analytics, I was flying blind on every decision.
The Turning Point
After months of frustration, I realized something: the problem wasn't dropshipping itself. The business model works. People buy products online every day. The problem was that every tool in the ecosystem was built to extract money from the entrepreneur, not to help them succeed.
$79/month Shopify plans. $49/month apps for basic features. $199 courses that taught outdated strategies. Overpriced suppliers with zero accountability. The entire industry was designed to profit from people who were trying to build something, not to help them actually build it.
So I decided to build the solution myself.
My background is in systems engineering and automation. I started writing code. Not a theme. Not a template. A complete, end-to-end platform that solved every single problem I'd run into. A platform where someone could go from “I found a winning product” to “my store is live and taking orders” in hours, not weeks. Where fulfillment was automatic. Where the store layout was already proven to convert. Where pricing, analytics, and management were all in one place.
That platform became Strive Commerce.
How Strive Commerce Solves It
Every feature exists because I personally hit the wall it removes. Nothing is here because it “might be nice.” Everything is here because it was necessary.
Vetted Suppliers with Fast Shipping
Bad suppliers with 3-4 week delivery
Every product on Strive Commerce is sourced from suppliers with verified shipping times under 14 days to the US. We continuously monitor delivery performance and drop suppliers that slip. Your customers get their products fast, and you avoid chargebacks.
Stores That Build Themselves
Weeks of store-building time
Pick a product. We generate a complete, branded, conversion-optimized store in minutes, not weeks. Custom domain, professional design, mobile-optimized, payment processing, everything. You focus on finding winners and running ads. We handle the infrastructure.
Conversion-Proven Layouts
Guessing which layouts convert
Every store on Strive Commerce uses a battle-tested single-product funnel layout that we've iterated on across hundreds of stores. Hero sections, trust badges, social proof, FAQ sections, urgency elements, all positioned exactly where they drive the most conversions.
One Dashboard for Everything
Juggling multiple tools and dashboards
Orders, analytics, customization, billing, marketing tools, referrals. It's all in one portal. Whether you run one store or twenty, you manage everything from a single login. No more context-switching between platforms.
Automatic Fulfillment
Manual order processing and tracking
When a customer places an order, Strive Commerce automatically sends it to the supplier for fulfillment. No copying addresses. No manual order placement. No forgetting to fulfill at 2 AM. Orders go out instantly, every time.
Built-In Pricing & Profit Tools
No visibility into actual profitability
Every store shows your supplier cost, your selling price, your profit margin, and your ROI in real time. We enforce a 30% minimum profit floor so you never accidentally sell at a loss. Pricing tiers are pre-calculated based on what actually works.
The Mission
I didn't build Strive Commerce to be the next Shopify. I built it for the person who's willing to put in the work but keeps getting blocked by the tools. The person who knows how to find a winning product and run an ad, but doesn't want to spend two weeks building a website that still looks amateur.
Dropshipping works. I've seen it work. But it only works when you remove the friction between “I have a product idea” and “I'm making sales.” That friction is what kills 90% of new dropshippers before they ever get a chance to test their product in the market.
Strive Commerce removes that friction. Completely. Your job is to find winning products, understand your audience, and create compelling ads. Our job is everything else: the store, the checkout, the fulfillment, the analytics, the infrastructure. We make it affordable because the goal isn't to extract money from you. The goal is for you to succeed, because when you succeed, we succeed.
What We Believe
Speed Over Perfection
The fastest way to find a winning product is to test more products. We optimize for speed of iteration. Launch fast, learn fast, scale what works.
Transparency in Pricing
No hidden fees. No surprise charges. You see your supplier cost, your margin, and your platform fee before you ever set a price. Informed decisions lead to profitable businesses.
Your Success is Our Business Model
We charge a small platform fee on your sales revenue. If you don't sell, we don't earn. Our incentives are perfectly aligned with yours.
Automation Where It Matters
Manual fulfillment is a scaling bottleneck. Automatic fulfillment means you can run 10 stores with the same effort it used to take to run one.
Proven Over Clever
We don't chase trends in store design. Every layout, every CTA placement, every trust element is backed by real conversion data from hundreds of stores.
Accessible to Everyone
You shouldn't need $500/month in software subscriptions to start a business. Strive Commerce keeps costs low so your barrier to entry is your hustle, not your budget.
Ready to Start Building?
I built Strive Commerce for people who are ready to stop watching tutorials and start testing products. If that's you, I'd love to have you on the platform.
